Where do the training sessions take place?
- If not otherwise agreed, the training sessions are held in the training rooms of the ISD. Our training centres are in Berlin, Bremen, Dortmund, Hanover, Nuremberg and Ulm as well as in Solothurn (Switzerland). On request, company-specific training sessions may also be held at the customer’s company.

- Support is provided by our Call Centre. The Call Centre including the Hotline is available from Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am – 5.00 pm and on Friday, 8.00 am – 3.00 pm:

Does the ISD also provide help with concept creation and costumer-specific adjustments?
- To ensure a trouble-free implementation of the configurator in your enterprise, each of our HELiCON solutions is accompanied by a complete service package consisting of three phases – in accordance with the PDM system implementation procedure recommended in the VDI guideline 2219.
Even after the roll-out, we will provide further support during the productive and orientation phase. In addition to software development and direct sales you will benefit from our comprehensive service package from one source and consisting of perfectly coordinated elements - from consulting, concept creation and installation to training, maintenance and a hotline.

What are the system/hardware requirements?
|
Generally, you may use any hardware possessing current drivers for the operating systems used. Please note, for instance, that the graphics card drivers need to support the complete OpenGL instruction set.
Hardware requirements for HELiCON standard version:
- Pentium 4-compatible processor with SSE2 support
- 1 GB memory
- Microsoft Windows XP (at least SP 2) or Vista
- .NET Framework 2.0
- a suitable database system
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Oracle Database Server 10g
- Oracle Database Server 11g R2
- Graphic card according to the requirements of the CAD system or viewer used
For an operation as Web Configurator, a computer with a Windows Server operating system 2003 or higher needs to be available. The required hardware will depend on the number of desired simultaneous accesses and needs to be discussed with the respective customer.

Does the ISD also provide hardware components (in addition to the software)?
- It is possible to purchase our software together with workstations and monitors as complete solutions. This ensures an optimal performance of our software due to the best possible software/hardware combination. Of course we will also install the software at your company and, if required, adapt it to heterogeneous system environments of current IT products.
Anyway, you are free to choose the hardware components you want to use.

Which systems can be integrated?
- Via XML data formats, any system being capable of XML data processing can be linked as a target system. At present, direct interfaces are available for HiCAD, MS Excel and MS SQL Server.
